Angela Shook is passionate about knowing God, understanding Scripture, and overcoming life’s challenges. Losing her hearing in her early twenties left her feeling isolated, struggling with depression, and missing out on many of the joys of early motherhood. The lessons she learned in those times of hardship still guide her today. As a recipient of cochlear implants, Angela has been a resource and encouragement to others suffering from hearing loss seeking information. She is a successful home-school mom, and serves alongside her husband who is Pastor of Ovation Church. Angela lives in Burleson, Texas with her husband, Jesse, of 22 years, and two teenagers, Cole and Addison.
