Danae Songy joined the staff of The Journey in August of 2014. She’s not new to 88.3, Danae worked there as a student from 2007-2009. Her husband, Jerrod Songy, is a Pastor and works at the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
Danae is from Southern California but she’s lived all across the nation, even Hawaii for a year. She’s worked in radio in Texas and Michigan, in the classical and Christian formats. On the side, she’s a personal trainer and a corrective exercise specialist. Her other hobbies include dogs, horses, and teaching acrobatic aerial silks.
Her best friend is Jesus and she hopes that His Love shines through the airwaves each weekday morning.
